Coast Guard member surprises grandmother | Community Spirit
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Lawrenceville resident Shawn Fendley just completed Coast Guard boot camp in Cape May, N.J.
He made a promise to his 83-year-old grandmother -- that he would come to see her before he had to leave for his first station.
Shawn's brother Tim shot some video of him visiting Edna Beljavskis, who is bedridden. It's a very tender moment between grandmother and grandson as she admires his "beautiful" uniform and tells him how grown up he looks.
