ADOPT A PET: Meet Thomas | Pets
Title (Max 100 Characters)
ATLANTA - If you dream of coming home to a wet nose, wagging tail and tons of kisses (in addition to, perhaps, a half-chewed shoe or an overturned trashcan) adopt a puppy from your local Humane Society. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers but adopting a companion for yourself or your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.
According to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, Thomas is three-months-old and he’s available for adoption at the Humane Society. He is a large, brown Labdrador mix and will grow to be about 80lbs. Expect him to be very active and, somewhat, destructive until he matures or is trained.

The adoption fee for Thomas is $100 and covers his spay surgery, up-to-date vaccinations and micro chipping. For more information, visit the website at www.hsnega.org or call the shelter at 770-532-6617, Mon.-Sat. 10-5 and Sun. 1-5. The Humane Society is located at 845 West Ridge Road in Gainesville.
