GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – 11Alive News has learned new details in the case of two brothers accused of brutally attacking their parents, attempting to kill them.

According to visitation logs at the Gwinnett County Jail, 22-year-old Christopher Ervin was visited by two family members over the weekend. The logs list two out-of-town visitors, identified by the jail as his aunts Rosalind and Sharon Ervin, who spent no more than 30 minutes with Ervin on Saturday morning.

However, the logs show that the relatives did not visit younger brother, 17-year-old Cameron Ervin. According to records, he has not received any registered visitors.

16-year-old murder suspect well known to police

DACULA, Ga -- Some people who know teen murder suspect said they were not surprised he was arrested. James Watkins, 16, of Dacula was charged with the brutal stabbing murder of a 77-year old neighbor.

11 Alive News obtained several court documents, including arrest warrants and police reports, but people who know the teen gave a clearer picture of the suspect.

Warrant: Brother planned attack on parents for years

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – One of the brothers accused of attacking his parents told police he’d been planning the crime since he was 11.

Cameron Ervin, 17, and Christopher Ervin, 22, have remained at Gwinnett County Jail since the Sept. 5. Police said they drugged their parents and tried to blow up their Snellville home. When that didn’t work, the brothers are accused of trying to kill their parents.

Customer offended by 'crazy' comments on car wash receipt

ATLANTA (WXIA) -- A Snellville woman is angry over the offensive words she says a car wash employee wrote on her receipt – then put on the windshield while they cleaned the car.

Apparently, she was never supposed to see the receipt or what was written about her.

Someone had written on customer Misty Thomas' the receipt: "B***h is crazy."

Brothers accused of attacking parents waive court appearance

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – Two brothers accused of trying to kill their parents waived a court appearance on Friday. 

Cameron Ervin, 17, and Christopher Ervin, 22, are charged with aggravated assault and arson after police say they attacked their parents early Saturday. Investigators say the two tried to burn their parents’ home down, and when that failed, they attacked them in their sleep.

In a 911 call, Yvonne Ervin said her sons were trying to kill her.
