LOGANVILLE | 5-year-old calls 911, aids mom and grandma
News

LOGANVILLE, Ga. -- Caleb Sims is a five-year-old boy who dialed three simple numbers.

Last Thursday, the grandmother and mother of the Loganville youngster got so sick with a bug they couldn't even move to the phone. Caleb could.

According to audio of Caleb's call to Gwinnett 911, the kindergartner was able to give his address, mother's phone number, and the details of what was going on without any trouble.

The ambulance came and took Caleb's grandmother to the hospital, where she was found to be dehydrated and low on various nutrients. She was attended to and released the next night.

"I felt sad, I didn't want my g-mama to leave," Caleb said. "I'm real happy g-mama's back."
