Greyhound adoption facility reopens ater fire

SNELLVILLE, Ga. – A greyhound adoption center has reopened its doors after being destroyed by fire last year.

All eight dogs escaped the Adopt-a-Greyhound Atlanta headquarters after it caught fire last year, but the 80 percent of the organization's property was destroyed.

On Sunday, the non-profit group held a grand opening at its new facility.

The non-profit takes in retired racing greyhounds to try and find them new homes.
