LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- After more than 10 months evading arrest, the man wanted for a fatal shooting at a Lawrenceville CVS Pharmacy is now behind bars.
Jamad Wallace was charged Wednesday with murder and aggravated assault in the March 4, 2012 death of Alex Delgado Ramon. Ramon, a 27 year old from Lawrenceville, was killed during an apparent robbery at the CVS on Sugarloaf Parkway and Grayson Highway, according to Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Jake Smith.
Smith said Wallace is now being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Jail. He was initially picked up by authorities in DeKalb County.
At the time of Ramon's shooting, Wallace was already wanted for another shooting on Dec. 9, 2011. He also faces aggravated assault charges in that case.
