Gwinnett Cooperative Extension Service offers class to get your garden to grow

GWINNETT --  Spring has come early this year, but it is still the perfect time to get in the garden and learn all about what can and cannot grow in the Gwinnett area.

Spring is a great time to learn about all the vegetables you can grow in Gwinnett's climate and how to care for them so they will produce bountiful harvests of fresh vegetables until late next fall.

Gwinnett Cooperative Extension Service is hosting a class on Monday, April 16 at 7:00pm at the Community Center in Snellville. The center is located at 3025 Bethany Church Road.

The cost is only $2 per person. Please bring cash and exact change. To register, call the community center at 770.985.4713 by Friday, April 12.

The Gwinnett Cooperative Extension Service serves as a great education resource for horticulture and environmental sciences. Click here to read tips on how to grow a home vegetable garden.
