Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Public Works Facility

The Mayor and Council of the City of Snellville cordially invite all citizens to our “Groundbreaking Ceremony” for our new Snellville Public Works Facility.

The ceremony will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the site of the new city facility, 2491 Marigold Road, Snellville Georgia 20078. 

The new Public Work Facility will be located at end of Marigold Road, behind the Elizabeth Williams Public Library and our Recycling Center.

Parking will be available.  Hope you can join us for this important occasion.

Gwinnett Tech Interiors Building Grand Re-Opening

After a two-year renovation, the faculty and students of Gwinnett Technical College’s Interiors program will celebrate the completion of their campus building and honor their industry partners with an open house ceremony.  This ceremony will be broken into two sessions, 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., take place on Sept.

Metropolitan Atlanta Theater Awards Announces 2010 Ceremony

ATLANTA, GA -- Nearly 300 local theater leaders, supporters and fans from all throughout the Atlanta area will be on hand to recognize this year's nominees and winners at the Annual Metropolitan Atlanta Theater Awards Ceremony on Sunday, September 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center in Roswell.

The ceremony will once again be headed up by one of Atlanta's most loved and acclaimed actors, Jeff McKerley, and punctuated with musical performances from this year's nominees for Best Overall Musical.

Since 2004, the Metropolitan Atlanta Theater (MAT) Awards has celebrated the talents of Atlanta's community theaters and small professional theater companies. The 2010 season brought 24 productions for consideration of awards, resulting in 108 nominees in 29 categories.
