March of Dimes Bowl for Babies with Harry Douglas

March of Dimes Bowl for Babies with Harry Douglas

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas and friends hosted Bowl for Babies to benefit the March of Dimes.

The event was held on Oct. 13 at Dave and Busters at 5900 Sugarloaf Highway in Lawrenceville, and a crowd of over 100 people attended. This was the opportunity to live out a fantasy evening “celebrity style,” and help fund the research, programs and services that ensure every baby will be born strong and healthy.

“I'm heavily involved with March of Dimes Georgia Chapter because my nephew and niece were premature born babies. It hits home hard, and once I research the cause and seen the positive effects if it, I had to do more," Douglas said. "Every year I host a bowling event titled Bowling for Babies. We raise money to prevent infant mortality and birth effects. Looking at so many kids who have lived great lives with the March of Dimes' help, they stole my heart instantly.”
