'Bob' coming to Aurora Theatre | Arts & Culture
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- A hilarious new comedy will bring big laughs to the Aurora Theatre this month.
Bob, the latest work by San Francisco-based playwright Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, follows the exploits of a Forrest Gump-esque man whose only goal is to achieve greatness.
According to information from the Aurora Theatre, the title character in Bob was born in a White Castle bathroom in Kentucky and was left to fend for himself by his mother Helen, with only an unfailing optimism to guide him.
Bob will open Thursday, Jan. 17 and run through Sunday, Feb. 10. Ticket prices range from $20 to $30. Learn more and reserve your seat at auroratheatre.com.
A special preview performance of Bob will be held Tuesday, Jan. 15. Audience members named Bob or any of its many variations (Robert, Bobby, etc.) will be admitted free. All other seats will be $10 with a current library card.
Aurora Theatre is located at 128 East Pike Street in downtown Lawrenceville.
