LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Every December, Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville assembles some of the best children's performers in the area for series of family Christmas shows.

This year's Aurora Children's Playhouse productions will be held at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on the three Saturdays before Christmas.

On Dec. 8, Wendy Bennett and her big green puppet will delight young audiences with songs and stories about the holiday spirit. There will be plenty of opportunities for audience participation during Sing Along with Santa, so children are encouraged to come ready to be part of the show.

Piccadilly Puppets will present the holiday classic 'Twas the Night Before Christmas on Dec. 15. The story is told from the point of view of a mouse who witnessed the magic of that very special night.

Finally, on Dec. 22, Lee "That Puppet Guy" Bryan will bring his puppet friends to the stage for Trouble in Toyland. The production tells of one particularly disastrous Christmas season -- a blizzard is coming, Santa's elves are on strike and Rudolph has a runny nose!

Tickets for all production are $7 and can be purchased at auroratheatre.com or by calling 678-226-6222.
